Custom-Built Green Jeep

Sean Nolte’s custom-built green Jeep is a testament to ingenuity and performance, designed specifically for sand drag and obstacle racing. Constructed from a 1970s frame and a modified 1980s body with a hand-built rear section, the Jeep is a unique blend of vintage style and modern engineering. Sean’s dedication to the sport is evident in the Jeep’s success, having competed in the East Coast Point Series and earning an impressive 2nd place finish in the 2008 championship—a feat that awarded him a commemorative jacket.
At the heart of this machine is a 288 cubic-inch iron-headed small block engine producing 450 horsepower. Lorenzo played a key role in refining its performance, freshening the engine, adding a carburetor, and tuning it for optimal power and reliability. With its distinctive build and competitive track record, Sean’s Jeep is not only a standout in sand drag and obstacle racing but also a testament to the strong collaboration between Sean and Lorenzo, who share a passion for pushing vehicles to their limits.
